Hello! My name is Laricia Weber.

I am the new Children’s Ministry Director and PreK teacher at Timberview Church. I was born and raised here in Spokane, WA. I grew up in the Colbert area and even went to Timberview youth group a few times. In 2018 I met my fiancé Mark and since then we have had two beautiful children: my three-year-old daughter Madelyn and my 8-month-old son Matthew. From a young age I’ve always wanted to work with kids, but I didn’t know what job field I wanted to join until I moved to Las Vegas, NV in 2020. Moving to a new state where I knew nobody was fighting and I searched for ways to find my purpose and make an impact in such a big city. Shortly after arriving in Vegas, I was presented with the opportunity to work as a PreK teacher at a Christian private school. While working there I gained so much knowledge and solidified my love for teaching. In June of 2022, my family and I decided to move back to Spokane to be closer to family. My heart ached as I loved teaching and missed it! My prayers were quickly answered! Within two weeks of being back, I was told about Timberview looking to start a preschool and needed a PreK teacher. Fast forward to today and I couldn't be happier. Every day I get to make an impact and speak God’s word to our future adults. I love being able to be a part of teaching them not only academically but spiritually. I’m excited to see what God has in store as I begin my journey with Timberview.
